Notes from our data check
patagonia.com (US and Canada) showed a 'We've got our hands full at the moment' outage page on every try, so the official Patagonia Australia store is the source. Its travel-gear size guide row: 'Black Hole® MLC® 45L | 45L | 56 x 37 x 19 | 1644 g' under 'Dimensions (cm)' (not labelled exterior). Product page: 'Weight 1635g (57.67 oz)' (stored; the size guide says 1644 g), 'fits most 15" laptops', 'Meets most carry-on requirements'. Backcountry: 22 x 7.6 x 14.5 in, claimed 3 lb 10.4 oz, which agrees within rounding. 56 cm tall is 1 cm over 55 cm limits. The same size guide also lists an older 'Black Hole® MLC®' (45L, 58 x 22 x 37 cm, 1928 g), a different bag. PRICE: $249 is OutdoorGearLab's list price (patagonia.com could not be read; one retailer showed $239 as the original price). weightLb is the published 57.67 oz converted to lb (3.60); weightKg is the published 1635 g rounded. Amazon not checked (no official Patagonia store). Derived values: inches from cm.
