Aeromexico carry-on and personal item size

The limits below are quoted from Aeromexico's baggage rules. Sizes include wheels and handles unless noted.

Personal item
No size published
Briefcases, purses, laptops, umbrellas, waist packs, etc. are classified as personal items. They must fit under the seat in the cabin.

Aeromexico publishes no personal-item dimensions. Weight is shared with the carry-on (see carry-on notes).

Carry-on
55 × 40 × 25 cm (21.7 × 15.7 × 9.8 in)

Weight limit: 22 lb (10 kg).

1 personal item (Placed under your seat) + 1 piece of carry-on baggage (Max. 10 kg (23 lb.) | 55 x 40 x 25cm (21.6 x 15.7 x 9.8 in)). Maximum 10 kg (23 lb.) between both

Quote from the Basic branded-fare page (cm first). Classic/Flex pages: "Max. 15 kg (33 lb.) | 55 x 40 x 25cm (21.6 x 15.7 x 9.8 in)". The Classic page also says "Maximum 15 kg (33 lb.) between both" but elsewhere "each weighing no more than 15 kg", an internal conflict. The weights recorded here are the Basic-fare limit, combined with the personal item. Wheels and handles are not addressed. aeromexico.com/en-us/baggage/carry-on showed "Site Maintenance"/Access Denied; content was read from the travel-information page and the vuela.aeromexico.com fare pages via the r.jina.ai reader.
